Support for Research

Support for Research at PRO

Besides the research promotion organizations, some of PRO’s research projects have been funded with external resources obtained in the form of grants, stipends and financing from foreign research funds. Participation in events, technical missions and research traineeships are possible thanks to funding from various foreign organizations, such as the European Union, GERPISA, IDE, AOTS and JICA.

Here one must stress the important role of the Vanzolini Foundation as a provider of extra-budget support and resources for PRO for its academic activities, as well as to help to improve and maintain the PRO physical infrastructure.
