Dear partners,

We are delighted to welcome you to São Paulo and São Carlos, Brazil, for the 2026 Annual Meeting of our AMARU 5.0 Project. It is an honor to host all of you at InovaUSP, the Innovation Center at the University of São Paulo (USP).

In São Paulo, our meeting will take place at InovaUSP, the University’s Innovation Center, inaugurated in 2017. Since its opening, InovaUSP has evolved into a dynamic environment dedicated to fostering and hosting collaborative, multidisciplinary applied research initiatives. Among its key examples is the Fábrica do Futuro learning factory and the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, along with several other strategic programs. The venue is centrally located within the green and spacious Cidade Universitária campus.

The program under development will provide opportunities for technical discussions and interaction.

City Transportation

To/From Guarulhos (GRU) São Paulo International Airport by Taxi, Bus or Train.

For city transportation, we recommend that participants use ride-hailing apps such as Uber or 99. Both services are widely available in the city at any time and at any location, and prices are reasonable. Users can also order an official taxi using the ride-hailing app.

Alternatively, official taxis (white or black cars with the taxi sign above them) are regulated and safe. Frequently, there are taxi stands in front of hotels and even near the event venue inside the campus. Some stands may be empty during rush hours, when drivers are busy picking up app customers.

There is also a Metro+Bus public transportation option to reach the venue. Google Maps is a good alternative for finding routes. However, without knowledge of the local language and the city, finding the details may be complicated at first.
